Pey Azhwar

The verses of Azhwar are compiled as Nalayira Divya Prabandham and the 108 temples revered are classified as Divya desam. Pey Azhwar is considered third in the list of the three principal Azhwar, with the other two being Poigai Azhwar and Bhoothath Azhwar, collectively called Mutalamalvargal who are known to be born out of divinity. Pey Alvar composed hundred verses that are classified as Moondram Tiruvandadhi and his composition is set in the Andhadhi style in which the ending syllable is the starting one for the next verse.

Bhoothath Azhwar was born at Thirukadamallai.  The verses of alvars are compiled as Nalayira Divya Prabandham and the 108 temples revered are classified as Divya desam. Bhoothath is considered second in the list of the three principal alvars, with the other two being Poigai Alvar and Pey Alvar, collectively called Mutalamalvargal who are known to be born out of divinity. Bhoothath composed hundred verses that are classified as Irandam Tiruvandadhi and his composition is set in the Andhadhi style in which the ending syllable is the starting one for the next verse.

Swami Vedanta Desikan

Swami Vedanta Desikan was born at Kanchipuram. Swami Vedanta Desikan's childhood name was Venkatanathan.  On the 750th anniversary of Vedanta Desikan, the Indian postal stamp department unveiled a stamp. The stamp was unveiled by Sri Venkaiah Naidu, Vice President of India in May 2019. Swami Vedanta Desikan is considered to be the avatar of Venkateshwara of Tirumalai.
